PU Coating

PU Coating

PVD Coating

PU coating, or polyurethane coating, is a protective layer of polyurethane applied to a surface to protect it or add a desired effect. PU coatings are a liquid plastic that dries to form a paint-like film on the surface. They can be customized to have a shiny and glossy, opaque, transparent, or muted appearance. PU coatings are also resistant to chemicals, water, abrasion, and temperature.

Polyurethane coatings form tough, chemically resistant coatings and make good, high-gloss cosmetic finishes. They have good abrasion and impact resistance and are particularly useful in high wear areas. They have good weather resistance but lose gloss when exposed to intense sunlight.

Polyurethane paint, also referred to as PU paint or PU coating, is a durable, highly-resistant coating used in industrial and architectural coating systems. It is popular in the marine industry and is used for numerous applications including coatings, rigid and flexible foams, and varnishes. It is also used in steelwork, concrete, wood, and other substrates.
